Dependant on your project we will apply for the necessary consents with the Local Authority which may include Planning and/or Building Warrant Approval.
The Planning Application is necessary to determine the appropriateness of a proposed design or building type to its location.
A Building Warrant Application is made to the Local Authority in order that new buildings, extensions and refurbishments conform to the current Building Standards.
The Scottish Building Standards are available to download from: http://www.sbsa.gov.uk/
Should your site or property be located in a Conservation Area or be a Listed Building then additional Listed Building / Conservation Area Consent may also be required. As noted above, we can check this requirement during the Design Stage.
